   I hear ya! The scariest part of this election is the possibility (albeit remote) that Palin could end up in the oval office. …shudder.

   The possibility is not remote enough for my comfort. She has George Bush’s stubborness and inability to listen to reason, combined with an appalling lack of job qualifications.

   What’s more, McCain showed such seriously flawed judgment in choosing her as his running mate that I would find a McCain presidency pretty scary as well.

   I took Justin in for a check-up today just south in Monterey. It might have been post-debate euphoria, but we saw more Obama-Biden signs than ‘you could shake a stick at,’ as my mother would say.

   There is hope of real change coming. Hang in there, America…and Janet!

   I know it’s looking good for Obama, but I’ll be a little nervous until he wins the election.

   It is nice to see such hopeful signs as the polls are showing - and the yard signs you and Justin are seeing.
